Approvals & documentation

Approvals and paperwork

Every unit we supply is cast in an approved plant and arrives with that plant's material approvals, mix design and DCL results — collected, checked against your batch and handed over as one file. We hold fourteen approved plants in the network, so the specification your authority named decides where the order is placed rather than what one yard happens to have a mould for. Name the authority when you send the enquiry and we confirm the specification before you order.

Precast units checked and marked in the yard before despatch
In our name Trade licence & supplier registration We are the supplier of record on the PO, the delivery note and the invoice — one contract covering every item on the list.
In the plant's name RTA & Municipality material approvals Held by the plant that casts the unit, with its ISO 9001 system and mix design behind it — barriers to culverts. We name the plant on the quote.
In the lab's name DCL test reports Cube, strength and absorption results issued by Dubai Central Laboratory against the pour that made your units, not a sample batch.
What we add Vetting, matching, one file A plant is audited before it joins the network, and a load is held until its certificates match the batch. Chasing four plants for paper is our job, not yours.

Four documents, every load

01

Batch reference on the note

The delivery note carries the batch and pour date, so any unit standing on site can be traced back to the cubes that were taken with it.

02

Approved mix design

The mix for the grade you ordered, with cement type and admixtures named. On units cast to drawing it is issued before the first pour, not after.

03

Cube and absorption results

Seven and twenty-eight day compressive results, plus water absorption where the unit is buried — the tests that decide whether a chamber passes inspection.

04

Source certificates and drawings

Cement, aggregate, admixture and reinforcement certificates, and the shop drawing you signed off before anything was cast. How the order runs →

Each line is held at the plant casting that unit, and we confirm which plant before you order so the approval reference in your submission matches what arrives. Anything held on request, such as third-party crush tests, stability calculations or load class certification, is quoted with the units rather than billed afterwards. For the reasoning behind the mix and cover choices on buried work, see the specifier guides.

Submission pack

What an authority submission needs

Five items, in this order — each one issued in the casting plant's name and submitted under your package. Most resubmissions come from a missing approval reference, or cube results that do not match the batch on the note; both are what we check before a load is released. The RTA submission guide covers the order consultants expect.

01 Shop drawings General arrangement and reinforcement for the unit as ordered, stamped by the casting plant.
02 Mix design Grade, cement type, admixtures and the sulphate-resistance position where the unit is buried.
03 Cube results DCL reports for the batch covering your delivery, at seven and twenty-eight days.
04 Approval reference The authority's material approval for the product and the plant that cast it. Ask and we send the current one.
05 Calculations Where loading is project-specific — culverts to cover depth, taller T-walls to wind.

Documentation on request

Name the authority and the product

Tell us who is approving the job — RTA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DEWA, a consultant on a private development — and we come back with the plant we would source from and its current certificates, checked against your item list before you order. If no approved plant can meet it, we say so rather than send you paper that will not pass.
